Good catch. The 22kHz figure assumes 44.1kHz sample rate, which covers the vast majority of DJ library content. 32kHz lossless is valid and has a Nyquist of 16kHz the classifier doesn't currently account for that. It's on the fix list.
Would you be open to being a beta tester? You clearly know your way around audio formats and this kind of edge case feedback is exactly what makes the classifier better.
This seems to use a flawed system for detecting it that won't work for my 32Khz lossless files.
